Ms Horvat brings a vast array of experiences and a broad range of recruiting and human capital consulting skills from the international executive search & executive consulting industry, while she was for more than 5 years a Senior Consultant & Principal at Neumann International and having strong international exposure within the CEE region. Before she was acting as Regional HR Director at Imperial Tobacco, where she was responsible for development and implementation of innovative personnel and welfare policies within all operational structures within the Adriatic Region. Prior to that, she was HR Manager at a regional distributor of Procter & Gamble and her earlier work experience was in scientific research at the University of Ljubljana.

INTEGRATION OF BUSINESS INSIGHT & HUMAN RESOURCES EFFICIENCY. 

Ms. Špilak has more than 15 years’ experience in international sales and marketing. Having begun her career in the field of selective cosmetics, she moved into pharmaceuticals, and, since 2005, has worked in the field of non-prescription drugs and consumer products. For nearly six years she worked for the pharmaceutical giant Sanofi, where she was responsible for managing the CHC Business Unit (consumer products, food supplements and non-prescription drugs) for eight countries in the Adriatic region. In this post, she built up the entire Unit, was in charge of geographical expansion and led all strategic, marketing, sales and organisational activities. Prior to that, she was employed by GlaxoSmithKline, where she managed the Aquafresh brand for the entire CEE region before continuing her marketing career and managing the entire GSK portfolio for the Adriatic region.

 

She holds a Master of Science in Economics and in addition to Slovenian, she is fluent in English, German, Serbian and Croatian. For the past 10 years, she has been a guest lecturer on the International Business course at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Ljubljana.
